We just moved into our new house and it already had a direct tv dish and wiring set up. We used to be cable people but since all the work was already done and we found a coupon for cheap directtv for the first year, it was hard to pass up. It is crazy how many new shows we have now. We used to have cable but did not have the premium package. With www.dx3.net we get all those channels plus a boat load of what cable considers premium channels. I think we are true converts now.
The problem with the new service is there is not enough time in our day to get caught up with everything that we were taping. We have had to par down on the new shows since we will eventually fill up our DVR before we ever get caught up. Between the internet and satellite TV, it is wonder we ever get anything done. Remember back in the day when we only had 5 channels and you had to get up to change them. No wonder our grandparents had so many kids. Some see it as a good thing and others see it as a curse. I see it is great entertainment when used responsibly.
